THE BEGINNING
In 1985, David left Lucas Aerospace and with Kay started Kingson Electrical Services. In 1988, Kay committed to Kingson Electrical leaving a full time position in a commercial business department.
10 YEARS
Julian (Kay’s brother) joined Kingson Electrical. Julian brought (at the time) 20 years of contracts management experience and took on a full time office based role, boosting Kingson Electrical’s experience in the commercial world.
20 YEARS
Kingson Electrical Services become a Limited Company and become Kingson Electrical Ltd and apply and gain membership of the Electrical Contractors Association, bringing a much-needed benefit to an expanding company
30 YEARS
Kingson Electrical have by now more than outgrown their lockups and garages based in David and Kays’ home and move into a new commercial unit and offices at Maylands Business Centre.
40 YEARS

Portable Appliance Testing

At Kingson Electrical we offer comprehensive Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) services to help businesses maintain the safety and integrity of their electrical equipment. Regular PAT testing plays a vital part in complying with safety guidelines and in maintaining your company’s assets.

Data and Fibre Infrastructure

Kingson Electrical are able to provide commercial structured cabling installation tailored to the requirements of your business with the provision of certification to confirm that the system meets the specified categories including CAT5E, CAT6, CAT6a and fibre optic installations.

HVAC

EV Charging

You can see hybrid and fully electric vehicles on every road in Britain these days and this is only likely to accelerate following the UK government’s recent confirmation that it will be banning the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles by 2035 as a part of a commitment to a Road to Zero Strategy.

Door Entry and Access Systems

Here at Kingson Electrical we carry out first-rate installation and maintenance of door entry systems for domestic and commercial customers. We also provide full replacements and labour cover in the event of a system failure. All of our door entry systems can be fitted with ease and come at an affordable price.

BRIEF & SURVEY

We’ll listen to your needs to understand your building. We will carry out a building survey if needed and/or work off previous EICR reports to help us understand the circuits you require testing.

TESTING

We’ll get you booked in for your inspection at a time and date which suits you. This will be carried out in accordance and compliance with BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations.

REPORTING

Following your inspection, we’ll issue you with your report. It will be valid until the date your next EICR is due. If any remedial work is needed, we’ll propose a plan of action for you and provide the necessary quotation for approval.
