Benefits of Door Entry Systems

Not only do door entry systems lessen the likelihood of your property being a target for thieves, but they also can lower insurance. For offices that use door entry systems, they will no longer need to change locks or re-issue keys if they are stolen, lost or when ex-staff fail to hand in their keys. With an electronic access control system that uses a card, fob or PIN, the property owner will only need to reconfigure the device. This can take a matter of seconds at no additional costs. A unique PIN can also be programmed to grant access to specific doors. Access can also be restricted by other signifiers, for example, time of day ensuring that particular users can only enter a zone when required.

Video Entry Systems are similar to Audio Entry Systems except you can see the identity of your caller before you open the door to them.
Card Entry Systems are an ideal way of controlling access in and around your building. Systems range from standalone to multiple readers controlled by a PC. Cards can be programmed to only allow access into authorised areas with the set codes able to be periodically changed to enhance your security.

BRIEF & SURVEY

We’ll listen to your needs to understand your building. We will carry out a building survey if needed and/or work off previous EICR reports to help us understand the circuits you require testing.

TIME FOR TESTING

We’ll get you booked in for your inspection at a time and date which suits you. This will be carried out in accordance and compliance with BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations

YOUR REPORT

Following your inspection, we’ll issue you with your report. It will be valid until the date your next EICR is due. If any remedial work is needed, we’ll propose a plan of action for you and provide the necessary quotation for approval.
